What's it like to work with me?

My goal is to make therapy collaborative. My favorite moments in therapy are when we get to find a creative solution or new perspective that didn't exist before. Solving problems is just half the equation. I hope that once we minimize the stressful things we can focus on enhancing the areas of your life that you love. I very strongly believe a discovery of & connection to our values is a large part of what creates lasting change.


All therapy is currently conducted virtually using SimplePractice telehealth.

Fees & Billing

  1. Do you take insurance?
    1. I currently accept out-of-network benefits only. I can help you obtain reimbursement from your insurance company using your out-of-network benefits. Unfortunately, I do not accept in-network benefits at this time.
  2. How much does therapy cost?
    1. Fees are $200 (Individual) and $250 (Couples) out of pocket. Sliding scale spots are available & reserved for clients that demonstrate financial need.
    2. Out-of-network benefits typically cover anywhere from about 20-80 percent of this cost, depending on your specific insurance plan.
  3. How do I know if I have out-of-network insurance coverage?
    1. We recommend calling your insurance company and asking the following questions: 
      1. Do I have "out-of-network" mental health insurance benefits?
      2. What is my deductible and has it been met?
      3. How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
      4. What is the maximum coverage amount per session? 
      5. What is my "co-insurance" amount?
      6. What amount will I be reimbursed?
  4. What is a “superbill” and why will I get one:

  5. How often will we meet?
    1. Therapy is conducted weekly. You will meet with your therapist at the same time each week unless a request to cancel or reschedule is made in advance via email.
  6. What is the cancellation & rescheduling policy?
    1. 24 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Less than 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling will result in a $100 late cancellation fee.
